As you know, this January I was diagnosed with bone cancer. Since there was no defined primary cancer. the chemo treatments have been extensive. I always new that I had a lot of friends. Howver, the cards and phone calls have been tremendous. So much so, that during the treatmants, which have really knocked me down, I have not been able to respond to all of you.We just discovered this service and thought it would be a great way to keep you all informed.
To date, I have had one complete round of chemo and am in the middle of a second round. I have also had ten sessions of radiation in an attempt to reduce the pain in my leg.I have also been hospitalized once.
Well today is a chemo day. Two more to go.Then some scans to determine what we will do next.
I will keep you updated
Well so much for chemo day. My blood counts were all way low and I had a transfusion to help inrcrease my platelet count. We are trying to schedule an appionment to see where we go from here.
