My Story

After a year of dealing with fatigue, reacuring hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings ( o.k. SOME if it was menopause) wasn't until I noticed two lymphnodes that were not going away that sent me to the Dr.. Thus.. begins the journey of the cancer war! Read my journal to follow my progress, good days and bad.

Thank you Ginny and Sherrie for the words of encouragement.

Update: I have a popliteal (a.k.a. Bakers) cyst growing in/arund my left knee that I will need to have surgery on to remove it. I see the surgeon Jan 28th for set up time for that. Also, mybe developing arthritis in hands/ankles and left elbow. Thank you chemotherapy for depleting my body to fight this and to age faster than normal!

Good news: My MRI came back good. Still in remission!! YEAH!!

Fun news: My sister Sherilynn and I had - DELUXE- pedicures when she was home for Christmas OH MY! it was wonderful! The gals gave us everything from lotion to sea salts to orange to hot rock rubs from the knees down!! Next year- all females in the family need to go ! What a riot that would be!

Filling my time:
-Reorganizing my Ins. and medical information.
-Cleaning closets and taking items to Goodwill.
-Working out in the garden (with coat and hat on) an hour or so,when weather is tolerable. I need the excersize and freash air! (Doctor ordered!)
-getting a baby Lily fix a weekend
- Dr.s appts.
- reg. house work and taking care of Mark as he takes care of me.
-soon to be taking care of daughter as she has surgery (again) on ovarian cysts. (My surgery will be after hers.)

Thats about it. The holidays were fun but wore me out. I pace myself, yet try to do alittle more with what knee and feet will allow. Later--
