Lloyd’s Story

This site has been created to help keep everyone updated on our father, Lloyd. He was in a tragic farming accident on Sunday, August 4th. If you are new to this site please start at the beginning of the journal as it will give you the best picture of how far he has come.

Please continue to send your love, prayers, positive energy, and thoughts. Our family appreciates everyone's support over the last couple months and ask for you continued prayers - Dad is on the mend but still has a long way to go!

Thankful Holidays

I couldn’t help but to get emotional tonight when I came across a few left over “Team Lloyd” stickers my cousins made to pass out at Dad’s blood drives last fall. The holiday’s are a perfect time to count our blessings, and I feel that my family has so many of them: the recent births of Gordon grandchildren Charlie and Nathan, my dad’s miraculous recovery, my parents’ loving marriage, and something I can’t reiterate enough – the support and love of so many of you. There are too many hugs, prayers, deeds, and favors to list. Even the thought of strangers taking a minute to read about Dad’s accident and feeling sadness, sympathy, or love for us makes me thankful. EVERY thought and act of kindness was and still is felt by us. I want to once again thank EVERYONE for EVERYTHING and wish you ALL a beautiful, loving, Merry Christmas and the Happiest, most blessed of New Years to come!

Sometimes good people come together for good people for good reasons. Often filled with deep emotion for ones they love and care about. The Gordon's are people we all love and care about and it's been demonstrated time and time again in all that's being done by all of us. We love them. Plain and simple.

God works in mysterious ways; it is through Him that Lloyd is still here to enjoy and enrich those around him-and for that we are most grateful. May God bless all of you during this most glorious time of year and may He bless you with continued health and happiness throughout the coming year.
