Since the last jounal entry, many thing have transpired. Lisa's final trip was planned for October 2007. The night before we left, my Nephew Jonathan - age 21 was killed in an ATV accident in Wisconsin. We cancelled our trip to St. Croix to help with my sister's arrangements. This year, Jonathan's girlfriend Alisa had his baby. August 16-24 this year - 2008 Autumn and I flew Lisa's remains down to St. Croix. We put her to rest on Turtle beach on Buck island, where she wanted to be. We watched the waves slowly take her out to sea. We drove St. Croix as a tribute, and drove past all of the spots that Lisa had taken us there. We saw her old house - now remodeled. Autumn hadn't rememebered much from prior visits, so it was nice to share with her. We had one day of diving, where Autumn dove her first wrecks and a site know as "the swirling reef of death" Yes, we got the tee shirts. It brought back a lot of fond memories of Lisa. Overall a very bittersweet trip, but life continues to move on, and we are foolish if we don't live it with gusto and cherish each moment here. Some days it's easier to do than others. Thank you for the support of our family. With Love, Bob
