Lindsey’s Story

On Friday Morning June 6, 2013 Lindsey was involved in a very serious accident. She has been hospitalized with severe brain trauma. We are very grateful for your care and concern. This has been a very difficult time for Lindsey. She is a strong young woman and we look forward to her recovery. If you know Lindsey you know that what she wants most is your prayers and smiles.Lindsey is a beautiful 18-year-old girl who graduated from Cascade High School on Wednesday night 6-6-2013. She was critically injured in a crash after she dropped her brother off at the school Friday morning

Lindsey was leaving the school parking lot around 8 a.m. when she was broadsided on the driver’s side by a pick-up truck.

Lindsey, who is from Aumsville, had just dropped her younger brother off for classes when she left the lot and was hit. Deputies said she was facing east at the time of the crash, looking into the rising sun.

Lindsey was alone in the car at the time and was wearing her seat belt. She was taken to Salem Hospital, and her injuries are life-threatening.

Lindsey has had a very tough time over the past few days and it will be possibly be very difficult for many more.

Your continued prayers and support will be greatly appreciated.
