Well, Linda is under the knife again today, but she is looking forward to seeing clearly again. She went into surgery this morning at 7:30am to remove cataracts in her left eye. She had been wanting to put the surgery off as long as possible, however it has become difficult to see over the last week or so, especially when she is driving at dusk or in the rain.
She first thought when diagnosed with cataracts "that those are for old people" and she was too young to have cataracts. She found out that they are not necessarily an "old person" disease and that her doctor had performed surgery on a patient that was 24 years old and had cataracts.
I will keep you posted on things as she "takes it easy" over the next few days. Her doctors orders are not to bend over, drive, or sneeze for the next few days. I can't imagine not being able to sneeze. We pray that her fall allergies will "go on vacation" for a few days.
Hopefully soon she will be singing "I can see clearly now..."
Keep her in your prayers.
Craig
