Lily is now on her way toward recovery after her stem cell transplant on April 23, 2008. Everyday is another day closer to her being cancer free forever.

I will not give up until there is a cure.

Day +120

Lily woke up and said that she could no wait to go to school. So far her temperature has not gone above 99.7. I also have yet to hear any positive results from her blood cultures. No news is good news.

I just wanted to remind everyone about the Light the Night Walk. This is the 10th Annual walk to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I need your help in forming a team to support Lily. You can sign up or make a donation at: http://teams.lightthenight.org/TigerLilys or you may e-mail me at: babymonkeytrain@cox.net

Did you know?

Every five minutes someone in this country is diagnosed with blood cancer.

Every ten minutes someone loses their battle with cancer.

Leukemia causes more deaths than any other childhood cancer.

This is just a sample of what I learned on this cancer journey. I am also learning about my own inner strength and will fight with my daughter for a cure.

Thanks for all your support and encouragement.
