Dear Mike and Suzie,
Kim and I are sitting here in Chicago thinking about you. I'm soaking in about 18 hours with Kim before she goes to the north woods of Wisconsin to sing with the Jewish birds in the forest. We pray for full recovery and continued strength through this journey. We love you both!!!

Hey Mike,
I don't think there is a day that goes by that we don't think of you. It is good to see you out with the new pup from time to time. We are going to have to go riding soon, right? Keep that bike nice and clean and when you are ready, yell at me and we will take that ride. Gordy got a new bike too, so we are going to have to form a Bull Mountain Riding group.
Elizabeth is getting used to her job and she is loving teaching. Thanks so much for all the help you gave her; you have given a good teacher a chance to be great.

Sue and Mike,  I am so very glad that progress has been good.  There are many people who want to keep up on your progress.  I will send the code out to all the Bunco Babes so they can read your progress updates here.  What a wonderful web site.  I will pray for your recovery.  I know it is a scary ordeal.  A friend of my daughter-in-law's was at very late stages of cancer and got herself back on her feet with an all natural diet.  She grows sprouts and other things in her kitchen.  She corrected her blood enough to get a bone marrow transplant.  I figure we should all take notice of this treatment.  Thanking of you.

Hey Mike. Is having surgery the only way you can take off time from work?  What kind of Boss do you have anyway??   I'm glad to see you are doing well. I'm sure your sense of humor and amazing outlook on life will help you recover quickly. The pup is so cute, and just what you need to keep occupied. Take care and hope to see you soon!!

Hi Mike,

We have been following your progress through your Caring Bridge site.  It has been a wonderful thing to read about how you have come so far and find it hard to believe you are actually headed back to work.  If we can only get RGIII back here in the Washington DC suburbs to have the same will power and determination that you have in fighting your way through adversity, we will be in good shape next football season.  We are looking forward to another playoff rematch with the Seahawks!  Keep up the good work and best of luck heading back to work.  Please give our best to the rest of your family.  I know you couldn't have come so far so fast without their love and support.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

All the best for your continuing strong recovery,

Ken and Sue Utterback

Dear Mike and Family,
Just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know we are thinking of you and praying for you all as well. You have always been there for other's and now it is time for all of us to repay you and be there for you as well. You have touched many and supported all from sports teams to school programs. Just think of the hours you put in as our girls were preparing for talent shows, soccer games etc.... You have the heart of gold and please know we are all by your side as you battle through these tougher times. Love to the whole Scott Family and please just shout if you need extra puppy walkers.

Mike and Sue and family,

I am saddened to hear that you are having to walk this difficult path and have been praying for you daily.  Our God is an AWESOME GOD and nothing can/will stand in the way of His Plans for your life.  "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Thern you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."  Jeremiah 29:11,12

Our family has experienced answered prayer over and over again and you will, too.  I will continue to pray earnestly on your behalf and thank God in advance for answering the prayers of His People.

Mike and Sue,I found out about all of this in a most unexpected way.  I was sitting in the bleachers of a gym here in Northern California.  It was day one of a two-day wrestling tournament, and there was a team from Oregon there. I struck up a conversation with a coach/dad, Greg Timmons, from the high school and we started playing the "who do you know" game.  Your name came up and he told me of the cancer and your progress so far.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you over the next weeks and months, both with your treatments and also the housebreaking of that puppy.  As a house with two labs, my advice is hide your good shoes! Best wishes for your continued improvement!  Jennifer Walsh (Plummer)

Mike - Just found out this morning about your ordeal.  It upset me quite a bit, but Janeen assures me you are doing well and I was happy to read your posts.  I will keep you in my prayers and will send positive thoughts your way.  All will be good!

Now, you know Santa was very disappointed that he didn't see the Scott family the day after Thanksgiving or during any of the other weekends as well.  What's up with that?  Don't you know that is about the only reason Santa is at Sleighbells the day after Thanksgiving, to see the Scott family?

I guess he'll forgive you, but don't let it happen next year!

Oh, and guess what.  Sonja and I are expecting twin granddaughters this spring!!!!  Tyler, my middle and his wife are pregnant.  They are the ones in Nevada.  We are very excited!!!!

Take care and do what the doc tells you!

Mike,

Jim and I were being happily retired, enjoying a trip to Palm Springs....and then I looked on ORLive, and got the shock of my life. There was our pal, and the news was not the usual glowing report on Hillsboro schools, for which we're so proud of you.  That being said, we are sending our love and healing thoughts to you, Sue, and the kids.  Do what Nurse Ratchitt says, 'or else.'

I 've had clean reports for 12 years now, and will expect you to do the same!  Keep your sense of humor.

Dear Mr. Scott.... (can't call you anything but that)-
I'm sorry this message is so delayed, I'm out of the loop entirely and am heart sick at this news flying my way so late. So many prayers to you and your family. I've known you to be an amazing teacher/administrator and parent-- and for that I think of you always as life hits! I'm hopeful you're gaining strength and on the mend. I love your whole family and really would love to do something/anything! I vote you deserve a break...no more stressful days... maybe a trip to NYC?!?! There is a certain someone opening on Broadway next month and I'm sure she'd be proud to share that moment with some important people from her roots...:) Haha! Please know you are on my mind and in my thoughts. I'll be anxious to hear a great report as I know it won't be any other way.
Much love and so much respect,Sarah Hatch/JakubowskiPS-I've passed the info. to Jill...I  imagine she'll get in touch!
