Libby and Tiffany enjoyed an autumn stroll outside UP with good friend Susan Gartner. We are so THANKFUL for Libby's progress on the road to recovery!!!
Adding a few fall leaves to her plants helped with the Autumn theme.
Not surprising that being a Rice Alumni Libby would pick out a cute woodlands Owl and some pumpkins to decorate her room.
Libby was very interested in the College Football scores.
Libby wanted to add a bit of color to her Fall wreath and of course it is one of her favorites - lime green!
Libby picked a beautiful autumn wreath for her door at UP while on a shopping spree to the local craft store.
Libby does Halloween arts and crafts with Yolanda and a friend at UP. What fun to create again!
Tiffany put Libby's new nightime "boots" on to help with Libby's ankle flexibility and strength. Not much fun to sleep in, but already showing improvement!!!
I finally figured out how to post a picture of the quilt made by Clara Lawrence for the auction of "Inspired by Libby" that Clara has organized. Isn't it just magnificent! It is PERFECT for Libby and all the other "parrot-heads" of the world. Thank you, Clara, for all of your hard work. We will let you know when the auction is on-line. All of the quilts will be exhibited at the International Quilt Festival in Houston in a few weeks. -Cathy

They have organized a raffle to win one of Libby's small wallhangings named Piñatita I to benefit the Libby Lehman Medical Fund. The details are on their "The Quilt Show" website. Hopefully you can connect with this link: http://www.thequiltshow.com/os/blog.php/blog_id/6877

Libby gives it her all in a Physical Therapy session at TIRR Memorial City. 9-26-14
Libby and Ellen pull a "switcheroo" as Libby pushes Franklin (the wheelchair) while Ellen pulls with her legs and Tiffany serves as "safety patrol" ready to swoop in if needed. Libby liked being in control and Ellen saw things from Libby's usual point of view. 9-20-14
Libby takes the wheel as she demonstrates for Ellen (and photographer Bill) her walking skills, with caregiver Tiffany standing ever ready to assist. Sept. 20.,2014.
Libby admires fabulous quilt created by Ricky Tims which Clara Lawrence brought to show Libby, along with many other quilts "inspired by Libby". Thank You!!! Clara for the great fund-raising idea and organizing it, and bringing the quilts to show Libby, and to all the artists who gave of their time and resources to create such amazing quilts!!!
