Hello Everyone
Back in October of last year, I received an email asking if there was any way we could reach out to a family whose little boy was just recently diagnosed with DIPG. Of course we wanted to help in any way and over the months that followed, we were given the chance and blessing to get to know the beautiful Lacewell family Leanne, David, Addie and their sweet boy, Max.
Last night, Max earned his full angel wings. While we thank God that he showed his mercy and healed Max from all pain and struggle, our hearts truly ache for his family and friends that miss him so dearly already.
In this journey, God always provides and over these many months we've been blessed to have this family to speak with, to listen to and to share our mutual faith. Although we never had the chance to meet Max in person, we got to know him through the loving eyes of his parents, his sister and the community of people who surrounded and supported him and his family. This boy is loved BIG TIME!!!!!
We know so well that your prayers are what are helping us face these impossible days without our Liam with us here. Your prayers and the grace of God is what is helping us laugh sometimes despite our sadness. Our hope is that you will pray for Max's family as well, that they may know some peace in the days to come. We hope you will read Max's caringbridge site and witness the wonderful testament of faith, the unselfish love of two parents, the protective and nurturing love of a big sister. And we hope you will see Max. Beautiful Max.

We'd like to think that when the Lord called Max home, a little angel with his familiar face and bright and
sparkling eyes greeted him there. We bet our boys were fast friends.
With love, thanks and prayers for our dear friends.
