My Story

At 17 months old, Lexi was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer. Her diagnosis Bi-Lateral Wilms and then Rhabdomyomatous Nephroblastoma (only 14 children in the world had ever had). Within three months she had four surgeries and lost both kidneys in separate surgeries. She endured nine months of Chemotherapy and started daily dialysis on September 8, 2006.

Hello Everyone!

All most done getting ready for the long weekend!  Did not know if I would have time tomorrow to write and wish you a "Happy 4th of July"!

As you see the fireworks fly this year, think of Lexi who will actually be able to stay up and be outside for fireworks (although not sure if Chad will have them going in the right direction - we may all be inside watching this year :))!!  Remember the last two years she was hooked up to that dialysis machine and missed them!

Please add our little friend Elijah to your prayers and pray that everything is going to be okay for him as he has a little something going on right now and waiting on results!

Have a great weekend!
