It seems Neutrophils don't like the 100 degree Louisiana heat either. Lexi's ANC is lower than last week, a measly 140, yuck. Platelets and HGB are up and WBC are at 2.0 so other than the ANC, she's doing great. We did hold the MTX today and she'll be off of her 6mp for the next week.. .whoo hooo, no fasting at night. We can all have late night snacks this week, lol. Kyla came with us to clinic today, it was nice having both of my girls together all day. Kyla usually has something going on and can't make the trip with us, but I like for her to see what Lexi has to do when we go there. They played with the volunteers in the playroom for a couple hours while we were waiting on counts and had a chance to meet with Angel, the little dog in the picture. I think she's a Pekingese, but I could surely be wrong. She was a sweet little thing and the girls just loved her. So we've closed the garage doors to let everyone know we are on house arrest and we're watching Ice Age to pass the time. Lets get a little ANC Shuffle going and see if we can boost it for all the St Jude kiddos, seems this is going around right now, Jessie's counts are dismal as she is making her round trip to Memphis and our buddy Noah got the Neutropenic news today at the clinic as well. Thanks for sticking with us through this, we are in a groove now and we love our doctors and nurses, but boy this is getting old and we aren't even half way through. The more prayers and well wishes the better! Thanks.
