We're home!! Actually we got home around 4pm yesterday afternoon. Leah fell asleep on the way home and continued to nap at home for a few more hours. Poor girl had to leave the hospital wearing a gown! She went down on Monday in a gown from the pediatric clinic and I never got home to bring her some clothes. Oh well, now the girls have two gowns to add to the dress-up box and they've already been playing "doctor" with Grandma M.

Leah had a good night last night and continues to do amazingly well today. We've been alternating Tylenol and Motrin throughout the day but she hasn't once said that she hurts. She's been busy today playing with new toys (both birthday gifts and homecoming gifts), reading books, and playing with Emma. You wouldn't know it to see her what she has been through this past week. She still hasn't had a poopy diaper yet, so we're waiting to see how that goes.

Everyone has been amazing at helping us out. We came home to a clean house yesterday (thanks to Grandmas!) and a delicious meal brought by friends. Meals will continue to come through next week--we have such awesome friends!

Her birthday party with family was supposed to be on Sunday, although for now it will be postponed indefinitely. I do plan on making her some cupcakes this weekend and she will get to open presents anyway. I just won't have a chance to make the Little Mermaid cake she requested and we won't have a formal party. Truthfully, I don't think she cares much but we feel so bad that we didn't get to celebrate in party fashion.

I hope to get some pictures up on our photobucket account soon of her from the hospital and of her "owies". Of course she has her infamous cheesy smile in every picture--such a cutie! She charmed all her Dr's and nurses, too.

Real life will hit next week when Emma starts kindergarten on Wednesday. It seemed so far away, and now its only 4 days until the big day! She will have quite an adjustment from being able to do whatever she wants all day long (including sleeping in and going to bed late) to geting up before 7 am and being in school all day long! Leah will miss her being gone as well.
