Hello everyone! We are so sorry for not updating the website in a year. We will try to do better. Well, Lawren is growing, learning, playing, talking and all the normal things a 5 year old does. She seen Dr. Stine today; and we are ecstatic that she has be NED (no evidence of disease) now for 3 years. She is such a little lady, we went shopping Saturday and Dillards was doing the little girls fingernails and of course my little Miss Diva wanted her nails done. She then carefully shopped for that perfect Easter dress, she seven matched up the shoes. But as any mother-daughter combo we did not agree on “the dress”. When It comes to fashion we will probably never agree.
As for me, I did complete nursing school and I am working as a real RN (so exciting)! We are adjusting to the 12 hours shifts, but Lawren we have discovered is truly not a morning person. We have to be up at 4:45 a.m. every morning I have to work and getting her out of bed is like pulling teeth!
Lastly, always remember our extended family who are battling the awful disease of cancer for the journey toward a healing is long and grueling. Thanks so much!
