Good morning! Well...I get to go home today!! YAY! haha. Thank you for all your prayers...my neutrophil count went up from 30 to 640! This number is still lower than I would like, so I still won't get out for a few days and avoid contact with large crowds until my counts get closer to the 1000 range. We are waiting for my antibiotics to get delivered to the hospital and then I will be able to go home. I will give them through my central line for 10 days twice a day. I think the final verdict on my bacteria was just a simple bacteria that grows on our skin. Normally, it wouldn't hurt anyone or even be treated if it were found in the blood, but in my case, they want to be safe because anything could make me very sick. I guess as safe as you try to be, sometimes it's unavoidable to get fever and infection under suppressed circumstances. McKenna, if you read this today, I hope you are ready to put up with me haha. I know it won't be easy, but thank you for your willingness to still keep me company in the townhouse. This semester will be a lot of adjusting, but we can do it! And come December, hopefully things will get back to normal! I love you! So I think this is a record for me...3 posts in 3 days!! Haha. Maybe I can keep this up....Anyway, I will go for now, but continue to pray for counts to keep going up. Not only that, but since I do have the next week to recoop, pray that I would use my time wisely and effectively. It doesn't come often, so I need to take it and run with it haha. Hope you all have a great weekend! Love, Lauren
