Wow it has been a while!  Let's see.....  We have officially moved from our house.  That was an experience of it's own!  During that week, Jim fell again (He still gets dizzy sometimes) and this time dislocated his knee. So I put in a call to someone I know that rents Uhauls.  She knows our situation and she only charged me mileage! Then I called our Pastor for help and he showed up an hour later with backup!  We ended up with seven men and me and was able to get everything moved!  The house closed on April 24th by the skin of our teeth.  Our bank (Regions) added in the past due payments, penalties and interest! This brought our payoff up another $20K.  And of course their greed about cost us the sale!  I would have thought with this economy the way it is, they would have been thrilled to get the $407K that we owed than zero!  The realtors had to cut their commission from 6% to 5% to get a zero balance, but at least that burden is off our backs now, PTL!  The realtor that actually sold our house (not our realtor) was an angel in disguise!  When we went to closing to sign over the deed, she had left us a beautiful card there along with a $500 check!  She has no clue what a huge blessing that was to us!  Our realtor hasn't even bothered to call and say thanks, bite me or anything and she did not have anything in it and you might as well say, never lifted a finger!  She was not happy that her half of the $27K commission was cut by a half of a percent!  You know, GREED really does show a person's true colors, doesn't it?  And we actually thought she and her husband were our friends.  Kinda hurts, but live, learn, pray and move on!  We are still in Beaufort.  A true friend of ours has given us an awesome place to stay until we move back home in June.  Actually he has given us cheap rent, and we can pay him after we get back on our feet.  We are on 1 acre of land, secluded, and yes we are on the water!!!!  God is awesome!  The kids and I have been walking on the shoreline during low tide and collecting conch shells.  We have well over 200 of them.  This place has been very serene for us all.  We wake up each day and get to see God's glory all around us and for that we are so thankful.  Jim is still recovering.  He is now off of the IV's.  He has good days and some bad days, but nothing like it has been for the past year and a half.  His strength is coming back some, but he still has no endurance.  He has been very down lately and that is hard to watch and sometimes I do get tired as well, but I always try to take each day as it comes and make the best of it.  We are both ready to move on now and waiting until June is getting hard.  This place has been like being on vacation and now we are ready to head home.  The kids will get out of school  June 12th.  We are ready to get settled back into one house and make it our home for a while.  Also try and get back to work.  Our plan was when we sold the house we would have had almost $20k to carry us for a while, but our plan is not always HIS plan.  It is going to be hard to last another month here with no income, but somehow, it seems to come when we need it most, so I continue to have faith and know that He will carry us through.  I am going to be volunteering some at the local food bank.  I went and met with the lady today and I think that will help me feel like I have a purpose.  I really need that.  That is something that Jim is struggling with also right now.  This has been a very humbling experience for us all and for that I am so thankful.  We draw closer to God each day.  The hardest thing we have been dealing with is leaving our church family here.  Please keep that in your prayers.  We plan to still attend church in Beaufort every Sunday that we possibly can.  Our church here has become such an important part of our lives.  Oh one more thing.... Our pastor asked us to give our testimony on Easter.  You can view it on youtube.com  Search: jimmaster1
God bless each one of you for your continued support and prayers!

Love,
Tracy
