That is so exciting that you guys get to go to Paris. I am so happy for you:)  I continue to pray for Lauren and your family every day. I hope that her headaches start to fade and that she can enjoy the spring weather coming up.  Hopefully she will get to mow the lawn soon!! Take care

LesLee...I have been following your blogs and praying for your family since Jen Churilla first let me know about Lauren’s struggles last year. I have related to so much of what you’ve shared b/c of all we’ve been through with our daughter, Sarah, who was born w/heart problems and was transplanted at age 14 (almost 14 years ago). I just read your St. Roberts talk on hope, and it rang true w/me again... now more than ever, as Sarah is back on the heart transplant list...she needs a second heart transplant, and people all over the country are praying for her and our family (our updates are on CarePages.com).   For me, you reminded me of those early days when we found out Sarah needed a transplant, and how much hope and strength we all found in our friends and in the Lord. These struggles with our children are so hard, (it doesn’t matter how old they are), but there are so many blessings in the process.  It’s always been an awful, scary time, but at the same time the love that surrounds us is so powerful. It IS God's blessing and grace in the midst of a terrible storm.  Life is hard, but God is good, and we have so much to be thankful for!  We will continue to pray for you, and please pray that Sarah gets a new heart soon!
