This is a basic overview about my dad, Chaplain Larry Blum.

This was created to keep you updated on his progress during this cancer/surgery/recouperation period. And ulitmately now his homegoing.

The journal and guestbook entries are such a blessing to have for us to look back on.

Hi everyone,

This is more for me than you I am sure.

I am just remembering my daddy, today he would have been 58 years young.  I made no bake cookies (one of his favorites) and can just remember and imagine his grin.  I know my sister in law Micaela has also made a batch and their family is doing other things to remember and honor dad on this day.

It's bittersweet for me as I remember having Kirith on dad's bday 23 years ago and how excited he was!!!  Happy Birthday Kirith.

So Happy Birthday Dad...we love you and miss you so very much and are trying to do all the things you loved to do with us.  I hope you have a super celebration with friends and family in heaven.
