Last weekend was filled with many heartwarming memories as we celebrated Landon’s birthday at the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis. What a better way to celebrate our sweet boy than giving back to the children fighting for their lives, just as he once did. Half of the house was closed due to some much deserved renovations, so we didn’t get to feed as many people as we did last year. We cooked jambalaya and spaghetti with lots of different sides as well as an array of deserts. Those who came and ate enjoyed it. Just as we did last year, we brought gift bags filled with lots of goodies for the moms and the children. What we had left over, we sent to D clinic to be handed out there. I received a picture of one little boy who was enjoying the safari sunglasses and an email from a mom who said her son absolutely loved his treats. He was fascinated with the safari animal sucker and held on to the bag for the entire day and into the night. He even considered eating it which was an improvement since he’d not had much of an appetite from the chemo. She thanked us dearly for sharing Landon’s life with her – she was able to read all about his journey here on his CB site. This special little boy is Sean Witsoe and he was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in August of this year. Please visit his website and send some encouraging words to his mom at www.caringbridge.org/visit/seanwitsoe . A great big “thank you” to Landon’s Zoo Crew for making his 7th birthday a huge success…we love you all!

Our prayers go out to our sweet little friend Khloie Farran, who underwent yet another brain surgery. The surgery went extremely well and they believe to have resected the entire tumor. She will have to undergo radiation to kill any remaining microscopic cancer cells left, but the entire tumor is now gone! What a miracle this little girl is - she has endured so much in her short little life and continues to thrive! She does seem to have some recovering to do so I ask you to please pray for her and keep her dear mom and dad close at heart as they press on in this journey. For those of you who don’t know her, you can visit her website at www.caringbridge.org/visit/khloiefarran . I know that Melanie and Travis would so much appreciate your kind words and prayers.

I’d also like for you to keep Sam Farris in your prayers as he is once again undergoing chemo for a Neuroblastoma relapse. We met him and his family in the medicine room as he and Landon sat beside each other getting their meds one night. His parents are asking for your prayers as they begin another part of Sam’s journey – www.caringbridge.org/visit/samfarris

Thank you all so much for all of your support – we appreciate your kindness and concern as we journey through this life on earth without our sweet boy. We all await the day we can meet him again in heaven…what a sweet and joyful reunion this will be.

Much love to you ~ Angie
