Kristen, I am so very happy for all of you.  I'm not sure who the luckiest in your family is, I think maybe it's all of us who know you.  You're all incredible.  Gabbi is so beautiful.  Hugs and love to all of you.

So when I saw the name of your journal entry this morning I screamed and teared up with excitement for you in my car. I am so happy Gabbi is finally going to be home with you, right where she belongs (and happy you can spend a little less time in your car). :)

Wishing you and the family all the happiness, laughter and strength bringing Gabbi home.

Such great news on her progress, and I am excited for her to be home with you guys too.  The placement of the tube may seem really scary at first, but it will easily become second hand.  I was surprised how quickly I picked up on it with Nora.  Perhaps it is the home setting, doesn't feel quite so intimidating as having a nursing professional watch you...  Gabbi is so lucky to have you Jed & Gaige.

I literally cried and teared up when I read this. I can't imagine the mix of emotions you are having right now. You hate to get your hopes up, for fear something might happen and now you have to wait longer. I'm going to continue praying that this is the week. I am soo happy for you and Jed and you'll both be fantastic caregivers. Poor Gabbi she won't get to enjoy her crib b/c you two will be fighting over who gets to hold her. And now you get to hold her whenever you want. Yipee!!! Congrats.Good luck Gabbi, keep up the amazing work. Are you going to be able to take time off to be with her? I hope so. Your maternity leave was cheated by her having to stay in the hospital and you not being able to enjoy her.

Thinking of you guys.  Children's is a wonderful place!  We always felt like they were treating the entire family and not just Jack.  I do understand your concerns with the NG/G tube.  We had those conversations too!  Know you are in our prayers and we will pray that Gabbi continues to grow and show improvement.  I know it is frustrating, but like you said, they tend to just do things on their own time!

    We love you guys!

Gabbi is such an amazing baby! I love that you allow us to get to know her and bond with her too! We are cheering her on with every victory. I think she is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing her with us. You are two amazing parents. She is lucky to have a warm and loving family to come home to. If breaks my heart that some of the NICU babies hardly have any visitors. Keep up the awesome job:)

Love you and can't wait to meet her.

Kristin, what a precious time.  She looks wonderful and growing perfectly.  I am so excited for you.  I glad to also hear that you are doing better as well.  Keep the faith and it will happen.  I would love to see her but at the same time I know she is better in her own little world away from all our germs.  When the time is right I will visit.  You take care and keep us updated as you are.  It is wonderful following the process.

Kristin,  I have been reading you journal.  It is so wonderful to hear baby Gabbi is doing so wonderful.  She is so strong and determined to fight through this.  You haven't said much about yourself, how are you doing?  God bless and many prayers are being made for everyone.
