Hi Everyone!  This is from Kyshia 7/1/09

Kris had his second round of "long chemo" today.  There were a couple of hiccups through the treatment.  There was some blood and protein in his urine, so they are going to do a 24 hr urinalysis to double check kidney function.  This was a surprise, because he has been feeling fine.  They also had some problems with the stint or needle and they had to replace it once or twice during the treatment.  But, truly, Kris knows that he is fortunate and these are just bumps in the road.

Kris is scheduled to have a scan early next week with results on Wednesday, (I believe).  Results will be posted here as soon as I have them.

On to happier things.  Grant is having a wonderful summer.  He is swimming like a fish and getting tan as a horse!  It is amazing to me how these kids just go and go and go!

Kris is really doing well, he still gets tired and has his moments of not feeling well especially after his treatments, but, boy, what a trooper!  He has been trying to get some work together, but times are really tough right now with everyone.  Somehow, they just keep on truckin'!

I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th, and remember the young men and women sacrificing their home and family life to protect our freedoms.  Times are tough, but boy without our armed forces, they could be so much worse!

I'll post next week as soon as I have results!  Keep the prayers and love comin'!

Love and Prayers,

Kyshia
