Dear Beverly and Claire,
Indeed this was a beautiful posting about both of your parents.  As I read the different postings from people that loved your parents so much, I say amen to all  that has been said.  I loved your parents:  I love you and my heart goes out to you now.  You are in my prayers very often and I want to keep up with you. Thank you so much for the reflection on Ginger's birthday.  I thought of her on her special day too, but did not read your posting until just now.  Thank you for the text yesterday.  I love how we are connected in other ways.

Beverly and Claire:  We miss your parents so much at Trinity.  They were such a vital part of the body of Christ there (and at Belhaven, RTS, etc.,etc.)  They showed us how to live and they showed us how to die, glorifying Him to the very end.  I often think of how heaven looks to Ginger's artist eye.  God has gifted you two so much.  Please pray about the possibility of sharing their story in a book.  Love and prayers,

Dearest Beverly and Claire,
Your entry on Ginger's birthday so impacted me that I was speechless yesterday. I'm just treasuring all these memories in my heart.
They continue to impact me even though your mom and dad are absent from the body and present with the Lord, because what they left us was everlasting wisdom and outlook on life that I continue to apply to new situations in my life.  They will live on in all of us who were so blessed to be able to call them our dear friends.
I told Ginger after the last lesson she taught at our Esther circle, not too many years ago, that  her teaching style was so colorful and free flowing. Instead of following an outline, It was as if she had a treasure chest in front of her that she dug her arms deep into pulling out jewels that she shared with each one of us in the room.  It was always such a treat to be with her no matter what we were doing. I always left her feeling so enriched.
So many times I've had to stop myself from calling or thinking I'll drive over to see her. I miss her terribly but relish the thought of her being with the Lord.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives and providing an opportunity to express our feelings as well. We continue to pray for you and your families.  Much love, Suzette

Thanks for this, sis. You know, I've been really missing Mom lately but reading Dad's poem made me miss and his particular way with words--and his poems for all occasions! Thanks for including that. And thank you, dear friends, for your kind thoughts and support on this day.

Dear Beverly,
This just made me cry...I was thinking of your precious Mom yesterday, not knowing it was her birthday today, but mindful of the other September day of note--your Dad's diagnosis.
THANK  YOU for writing and for sharing this marvelous poem that rings with your father's voice.
May god continue to comfort and care in very special ways for you and Claire and your families. Prayers continue, as well,

Dear Bev and Claire, I just read the last three posts and feel such a bond with you both. Before you WERE (in my mind) my friends' beautiful daughters. Now (again in my mind) you are both godly women of excellence who have demonstrated to all of us God's grace, love, wisdom and the ability to think of the needs of others - even under great stress. You honor your parents well. Thank you for so faithfully sharing your journeys through a tough two years! Much love to both your families.

Dear Beverly and Claire,
thanks for sharing this tribute to both your Mom and Dad.

My Bob joined your folks in worshipping Jesus - knowing Him in His fullness on Aug 8th.  We would have celebrated 59 years together on Aug 13th.  What a wonderful reality heaven is.

Loving you much, Jesus loves you more

Beverly, Claire, and family,
Have been thinking of your mom all day today!  We shared many birthdays
together in our prayer group of 35+ years. Fall was Ginger's favorite season of the year, and I love knowing she is in the best "season" of all!
Your mom and dad left so much of themselves in the lives of all they touched and they will always be remembered with joy and gratitude in the hearts of those of us who shared the journey with them. Blessings to
all of you!

Beverly and Claire, we think of you and your families often. Your parents were so special to us and oh how they loved each other as Knox shared in his poem to your Mom on her birthday. And now, they are together experiencing our Heavenly Father's love first hand. Love in Christ, Ann and Dan

What a very touching poem that Knox composed for Ginger. How much Pam and I enjoyed dinners with them at Amerigo's. The tenderness that Knox expressed reminds me of the love letters that Pam and I wrote to one another while we were dating in college. They surfaced somehow this summer, and we have been reading them to one another. But we haven't done that for a few weeks now. So your posting Knox's beautiful composition prompts me to continue reading our letters to each other. Thank you!

I just want you t know that as a counselor I have your dad's phrase in a picture frame in my office- I use it often, "Lord do your will as forcefully as necessary but as gently as possible."  If you can send me your address, I would like to send something to you.  My e-mail is
