Dear Claire and Beverly, Thanks for updating us as to your journey these days, and the healthy processing of so many memories inwhat your parents have left behind, not only in example, but in "stuff". All of us who are older keep thinking about that with our kids. You don't know me, but Jim and I are long time friends of Ron & Emily and served together at NAIM ministries. I have continued to pray for you in this time, so that made your update even more special. Also Emily has been on my mind and I just tried to call her, but didn't get through, so your note filled me in on some of what I would have asked her about! Bless you both for your long faithfulness to God and your parents. Warmly, Jim & Becky Hamilton

I am so sorry for your loss.  You all have been through so much over the last two years.  You are certainly in my thoughts and prayers.  My parents called and spoke with Emily and Phinny yesterday.  I know the service for Ginger will be beautiful.  Michelle Lewis Ryle, Macon, GA

None of you know me except for Emily Higgenbotham.  I have known her and Ron for about 30 years and they have gone thru thick and thin with me. I just wanted to give my condolences because Emaily has told me so much about her sister Ginger  with the same name as mine.  I see in the picture that she looks so much like Emily. May God richly bless all of you and it has been a privledge to have been a little part of your large family and to have Emily and Ron as my dear friends and she has alway been my wonderful mentor. In Christ's wonderful love, Virginia Rollins

Your mama was beloved from afar. Knowing her through Emily and Ron, she seemed like my friend though we barely met. She also did the calligraphy for our book, Celebrate with Joy. She was a JOY to know and will be deeply missed by many. Seeing her smiling face with your dad on every entry you sent, made it a bit hard often to remember how she was struggling. But so nice to remember her as she was. When you started to send so many entries at the end, I knew her time had come. My heart goes out to you girls and your families for all you have gone through these last years.  You have admirably loved your parents to the end. They were blessed and so were you. Will remember to pray for you as you will miss her/them even more now. May God bless you and deeply comfort you as only He can do.  Sonnie Burnett

What a beautiful sentiment of your mother's life. She was a woman of joy. Her radiance was ever present on her sweet face.  I can't imagine how difficult it must've been to write your mother's - and father's - obituary. Yet, your overflow of love and grace is very evident. Thank you. Thank you for faithfully opening the window to allow us to see into the lives of your family. Thank you for your vulnerability. Thank you for you love, admiration, and honor you so obviously have for your parents. And thank you, thank you for the strength and rest you make known that you have in your Almighty Lord.  My prayers are with you as you finish out this week. And beyond. May God continue to uphold you with His mighty right hand and hide you under the shelter of His wing. He alone is faithful. But you know that... With much, much love,Sherlie

What a joy to know Ginger. She was an amazing woman. I visited with her at Trinity a little over a month ago where she spent her Saturday reviewing the way she would share the gospel. I thought that was so telling. So very thankful that the Lord gave Shari and me the opportunity to renew our friendship with your folks during the last few years. They are very special and will be a significant part of the joy of heaven. Jesus does know how to make jewels!   Your family is in our prayers.

What an incredible couple. What an incredible marriage and what an incredible personification of true compassion. I remember every single Sunday School lesson from Knox and every personal note from Ginger when she would mail me her personal testimony. It always came at the perfect time. I loved them both dearly. They were precious people. All of Heaven and her sweet husband are rejoicing at her arrival. We have all lost a precious lady but heaven has gained another angel. Alisha T. Burgess

Love and prayers from David and I. Your Mom is a dear friend to me. I say IS on purpose because I look forward to being reunited in glory! I went through a stack of cards I have saved from her. Full of sweet messages and scripture. God used her to encourage me in the darkness of depression and still uses her as I follow her advice daily. What a precious memory. My prayers are with you and all the family. I am so glad you are looking to Our Father for comfort. What a legacy Knox and Gnger leave behind and all for God's glory!!

All I can say is how proud, humbled and blessed I have been these last 35 years to have known your parents.  All the bible studies, circles, Sunday School classes, youth groups were all the more enriched by the leadership of Knox and Ginger.  They will be missed greatly here on earth, but heaven is rejoicing!!   Beverly and Claire, I know you know how blessed you are! Love, Sharon

Your parents meant the world to both of us. We will miss them greatly but thankful that their suffering is over. Ginger was a great encouragement to me through the years concerning depression. Her openness helped me to be open as well. Heaven is rejoicing. We both send you our love. Paul and Margaret
