Beverly and Claire,
Beautiful words by beautiful daughters for their beautiful Mama... You are two very special ladies and I know your Mom and Dad were so proud of you.
I will continue to think of Ginger every day when I read the Jesus Calling she gave me. She also gave me one of her paintings of an old black kitty that looked just like our Tort cat and it makes me smile every time I walk by it. What a sweet friend Ginger was to so many people and I am very thankful she and Joan were friends so I got to know her!
Enjoy your journey going through Ginger and Knox's things... No telling what treasures you may find!
love,
Marsha

That passage from Romans is one of my favorites! Your entries on CaringBridge have been a blessing to me. Thank you for sharing your joys, your heartaches, and your petitions to our Lord. I am thinking of Ginger as I write---so thankful for the gift of her friendship and for the vivid reflection of her faith in and love for Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I will miss your posts and the friendship I feel we've shared through your candidness and vulnerability with each post. Thank you for always pointing us to the faithfulness and hopefulness of Christ. I appreciate your love and commitment to your parents. The deep and tender love you feel for them is so evident. You are a blessing to all of us,

I will continue praying for you and your families.

Beverly and Claire,  Only part of my message was printed.  ???
As I was saying ...  I am a friend of Emily and Ron here in Bellingham, and allthough I have never met you or your parents I have felt strongly connected to you through prayer during this difficult part of life.  I will continue to pray for you with love and thanksgiving ...

Beverly & Claire,
Throughout this journey you have shown that all things are possible and hope remains with faith, family & community. I would never have chosen for you to have to experience this first but will be forever grateful for the road map you've put before me to embrace the now, let go & let God and never, ever lose hope. Your faith strengthens my faith and my prayers go with each of you and your precious families.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. I am in a similar position as my mother passed away 3 years ago and my father, 2 months ago. My siblings and I are going through their house, sharing memories, and finding photos we never knew existed. May God fill you with peace and joy as your journey onward.

Last year I sent a letter to your mom in which I sought to express my deep gratitude for all of the LOVE that she and your dad extended toward my wife and me.  I want to take this opportunity to say to you that it was in your father's office in the late afternoon, following a full day of visiting RTS in August of 1985, that we KNEW that I was indeed called to be an RTS student.  I am almost 63 years old now, and, of all the people I have ever known, your dad and your mother were supreme examples of kindness and gentleness.  I give thanks to God for them, and I give thanks to Him for you as you go forward as the recipients of a truly great legacy.

I guess the message didn't get to you that I just wrote. :)  I have prayed for both of you as you sort through the contents of your parents' home.  What precious memories, tears and laughter you must be having. My heart grieves for your loss (mine too) and I think of you so often.  I have a thought and think about calling your mom or remember my time with her last summer.  I smile as I think of her freezer, her security, as she told me.
Blessings on your both and I hope we do stay in touch. Marion

Dear Beverly and Claire,
Having recently been through this with my parents and especially after my mom's death, I feel for you both. May the Lord continue to give you all good things and protect you from all evil, you and your families.
The world and especially the kingdom of God is a richer place because of you and your parents.
Your Dad did my commissioning to France in 1978, and it stuck pretty well!
If you ever get (back) to France, let me know!
Thinking of you,
