Hi Dearest Friends,

You are on my heart and mind this week and I am delighted we now have this way to keep in touch.  A card is in the mailbox and I have wanted to call, but this is the least intrusive way to hear from you.  Please do keep us posted.  Thanks for letting Bev get this out to us.

Blessings and prayers, Marion

Emily and I are praying and spreading the invitation to others to pray for you and the family there. I'm so thankful for you and the wisdom and gentle instruction you give us. Hoping to see you soon. May god bless you as you gather materials and organize thoughts for your next book.  Love in Christ, Ron

Praying for you, Dr. Chamblin. Even after all these years, I simply cannot bring myself to call you "Knox." You're too important. I read somewhere that the apostle Paul could barely call our Lord just "Jesus," aware that he (Paul) had once persecuted him; rather he referred to Him as Christ Jesus or Jesus Christ.

Don't read too much into that. It's just my way of saying how much I admire and respect you.

We love you,

David

Dear Knox and Ginger,

We are praying for you all and your family!...for a "miraculous intervention" of healing.  We are also praying that you will grow during this time of testing in wonderful ways that we can't even imagine right now!

We will continue to pray each day,

Knox,

I have been blessed getting to know you at RTS.  I treasure the few times we have visited.  Jimmy speaks so fondly of you as his "favorite" professor ever--those were during your Belhaven days!!

I am delighted that Rachel and Russ have had the opportunity to develop a relationship with you and Ginger.  You and Ginger are a blessing to them as well as to so many people including Jimmy and me.

Jimmy and I are praying that God would see fit to bring glory to His name through your healing. We are also praying for Ginger and your family during this time.

In Him,

Priscilla

Dear Dr. Chamblin,
Mark and I are so sorry to hear about your illness. We are praying that God will give you and Ginger grace, strength and mercy as you go through this difficult trial together. You have been such a huge inspiration in my life as you've reflected Christ's love and power in your teaching. In His love and ours, Mark and Nancy Kreitzer

Knox and Ginger:
We are praying for you every evening as a family.  The children are lifting up their Gigi and Grangran in prayer continually.  I am praying every morning, and appreciate this website that will help many know how to agree with you in prayer.

Knox & Ginger,
We have learned so much from both of you and continue to learn. Thank you for your precious witness to our loving Lord. I join you in your prayer for at least 10 more years. I need the wisdom from your book on aging! We love y'all and are thankful for the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Love in Jesus,

Dear Dr Chamblin,

Nancy sent me an email to let me know about your diagnosis.  I will be praying for you and your family as you receive treatment.  Thank you for pointing our minds to God during this time in your life.  Your witness continues to be as strong as it was when I was at RTS -- 20 years ago!

I often remember fondly your godliness, humility, encouragement and humour.  And 'inclusio' is a common place word in our house thanks to you.

We are still at the same church in Melbourne, Australia. Our children are 14 and 11. I am working as a counsellor part-time. Do you remember me calling you from the Library of Congress one January to ask for a reference from you for me to apply to the MFT program? You've had a big impact on my life, for which I am very thankful.

Lots of love and prayers from me and Don,
Anne

Knox and Ginger,

We are so thankful to have a means of contact!  You and your

family are in our prayers, as you go through this experience

with the love of so many whose lives you have touched. As Aslan

said to Lucy, "Every year you grow, you will find me bigger."

Love and continued prayers, John and Martha Holt

Knox,

We are printing your own words and praying them as you battle this illness (and the treatment). You and Ginger are so special to our entire family; we love you both and will pray the desire of our hearts which is a miraculous and total healing.

Richard and I have been the recipients of God's grace in the face of the worst prognoses, and we can testify to His merciful love. We pray for you to feel the fullness of that mercy in the coming weeks.
