Hi Kirk
I guess you will not remember me but here goes anyway. Me and my son visited your home for a couple of days way back in 1994 (me and my wife had met you Mum even further back in '76 &'78). For many years we kept in touch mainly at Xmas, like folks do, then a while ago we stopped getting any Christmas cards. Sort of lost touch since then, which was a shame.
Yesterday during an idle moment I looked for your family home on Iron Horse Lane on Google Earth. One thing led to another and I ended up here (small world eh?).
When I read what had happend to you and all that you have gone through I was totally blown away and without words for quite a while. You are a totally star dude, both me, Joy and my son Steve send postive thoughts and the best wishes possible. But I guess you don't really need them as you are doing an amazing job without them. Just keep on keeping on, I know you can. Here was me thinking I was a bit of a hero after having a lung translalnt - no where near your league matey. One of the last things you said to me when we waiting for the train was 'please stop smoking' as
I'm sure you can imagine I haven't smoked for years. :-)
You continue taking good care of yourself - onwards and upwards eh?

Kirk, My name is Neal Lineberry, Jr. We are related through my mother. Her name isMary Wood Lineberry. She is the daughter of Charles and Alice Wood.
My son, Mark Lineberry is living in Lone Tree, CO. He works for the city of Littleton and is an assistant baseball coach at Littleton High School. I plan to contact him to let him know we have a relative who lives in the area. His girlfriend, Lindsay is a professional chef and works in Evergreen.
Mom told me about the "roll-out" next weekend. My family and I plan to send a donation. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. One of my dad's greatest sayings is "Our greatest Glory is not in never falling, but rising each time we fall". God has a plan for us all and you are blessed with a strong family and great friends as well as a will to live. Keep up the faith.

Dear Kirk,
You do not know me but my wife works with your Mom at Echo Lake.  She has been keeping me up on your progress.  I got a chance to catch up on your journals.
It is so amazing Kirk, all that you have accomplished these past three months.  You and your family are an inspiration to us.  Kirk, I know everyday you are getting stronger.  We are so proud of your progress.  We have you in our thoughts and prayers daily.
Stay Stronge,

Hi Kirk,

The Jeter's here.  We the ones on the corner of Melton Road and Fox Mill.  You had cut up all the trees in our yard that fell from the hurricane. (Just in case you have forgotten)  Anyway,  we are just checking in to see how you and your family are doing.  I see pictures of the mountains, snow, etc on this site and it is beautiful!  I have not read all the updates, so we would like to hear from you and your progress.

I'm sure you are aware of all the snow we have had here.  I am ready for it to all go away.  I enjoy it for a few days, then I have enough.:-)

Let us know how you are doing.  We will chat with you later

Only 82 days. What a transformation!   I think of how many sets of 82 days have slipped by me and life goes on learning and changing maybe a little over that time. I hope you will write about your experience.  It makes a great story, as your many readers will attest.

Much love and all the best with the move,
Jennie

Kirk,
Glad you are moved in.  Tim says your place is sweet.  We were thinking about coming down and making dinner one of these nights (maybe Sunday or Monday) if you aren't to busy.  Hopefully, you get Bella soon and we can bring Ruby.  She is missing her best friend.  Looks like you are having a good time....that is awesome.

Love,
Marcie

KIRK! I'm glad to see you out and about! It sounds like you are getting along great! My middle school class and I went to the Washington Capitals Hockey practice yesterday and we got to watch/ask questions! It was quite the experience :)

I look forward to the next update and pictures of your new living arrangement! What an awesome brother you have!

Enjoy your Friday! Much love,

Mallory

Dear Kirk,

The first day after a move is so tiring. Please give yourself a break. Things will get better. When your body is exhausted you don't function as well as normal. After you get some really good rest, you will feel so much better.  We are praying for you.

Love & Prayers,
Jeff & Ellen Rice (Julie's cousin)
