I saw all the hidden pain and stress in you as we spoke briefly, at LVM the other day.  That is a biggie, and the one people can't see is often the toughest to get through!  What you are experiencing is not anything that I would not expect.  It would come under the acronym of PTSS, and you will find your way through it.  If you are not already, get some help.  It will be a great relief to be able to express some of that stuff to someone with good ears.  I have tremendous trust and faith in your abilities, Kevin...HUGE.  You will get through ALL of this ordeal.

I have watched you grow since you were a little kid, and always known you had what is needed to make life happen in a good way for you, and yours.  I care deeply about your journey.  It is, and has not been, an easy one.  You are doing so beautifully...just keep walking the path, one step at a time!  One day at a time, and often, one minute at a time.  Courage my friend.  That is something you are not lacking!

Sending much love and affection to all in the family, but especially you!

WELCOME HOME....the island feels more LIKE home with you and yours tucked into the woods. One day at a time. For now, we will all breath just a bit easier, knowing you are all gathered under one roof, and enjoying the pattern of life that is familiar to you. A new temp job is the wound care.  There is help out here for that too, Caroline.

Glad you are all in one place....YOURS!  A very WELCOME HOME to all of you Zoerbs!  Hope you know how much we missed you......HUGS

Fantastic - that is just the kind of news we want to hear - you are coming HOME!!  With the love and care of your family (and your Lopez "family", along with the OPALCO "family", SJ Islands "family" and IBEW "family") you have a lot of people who are caring for you in their hearts.

Caroline - you will do just fine with wound care, though do try to get some home care so that you can take a break to just love Kevin and your family - you all need to stay healthy. You do not need to do everything - just being there and loving them is the most important thing you can do for you all.

We continue to send warm healing thoughts and hugs your way and pray for your recovery.  Go get' 'em, Kevin.

Monday night football at the Zoerb's tonight??  Just remember to rest when you need to, whether there are people there or not - or just send them home.  They are there rooting for YOU!!

Think about you all the time Kevin and keep praying for strength and healing.  I've been really lax in posting notes to you but a little overwhelmed here right now.  Long story short I had to move my youngest daughter (39) up here with me because of a lot of physical and mental health issues she has.  Recently diagnosed bi-polar and trying to get meds just right.  Moved her home June 7th and she really is getting better.  We seem to help each other a lot.

Caroline I really can relate to what you're going through.  I had to do wound care for my late husband when he had his first leg amputated due to Diabetes, but fortunately also had home health care - Thank God! Hang in there and please remember to take some time for yourself, too, which I finally learned is so important for the whole family.  Granted my children are all adults, but even with young children - in fact probably more so - you need to remember to care for yourself too.

Love,

Caroline, praying for you that God would give you wisdom and strength. You're the only one who knows your whole family dynamic and what you're able to handle, so I'm asking God to provide everything you need to feel comforted, protected and cared for. Blessings to you.

This mornings post sounds very hopeful!  Holding steady and resting in the assurance that healing IS happening, and that great care is all around you.  There is light at the end of the tunnel, and it is now visible.  Thanks be!!

Hey...there is football tonight!  Have some good moments and know we are with you!
