WOW! A 3.3 gpa your freshman year, Kevin! Lots of freshman are unable to attain that. You should be very proud of that. I am so glad to hear that you made it through the entire school year of many challenges and changes. I think of you and your family often and keep you in my prayers. Your strength amazes and inspires me!

So nice to get an update on Kevin and that he is doing so well and has accomplished so much. He and the whole Massey family are such an inspiration, and Mrs. Massey I can sense a new level of peace in you. I praise God for helping Kevin and being with each of you and will keep you in my prayers.

This entry was very uplifting. Any time I feel like life is "getting hard", I think of Kevin and I can say, if he can do this, we can all have hope.
I will DEFINITELY plan on buying the book!

Hey Kev; hope all is going well. I just saw something online that you might like to be an inbspiration to. You prob abley know about this; but Kelly Melton, a 7 year old UK fan, is battling cancer. I knhow how the last 3-4 weeks of your first year of college are tough, but if you could find sometime to relate with this young man; I think it would be trmendous for the both of you. You are always in my prayers here on the southside of indy. GO BIG BLUE. Take care.

Thanks so much for the update on Kevin and your family! You've all been on my mind a lot lately, and I'm so glad to hear you're doing well.
You've should have gone on into Keeneland! I have never understood why people dress up to go there...I never do. If they don't like it, too bad. I'm not there to be seen or to look at other people; I'm there for the horses and the races! Next time be comfortable and barge on in there!!!
Blessings galore to you and your family.
You got this, Kev!

Hey Kevin,
I saw you on tv the other day. I didn't get the whole story, but it was something about you may not be able to make a trip with the uk team or something like that..I yelled that's Kevin...like you was someone in our family ( which I feel like you have became part of our family since the day I started reading your story)...everyone in the house looked at me like I was crazy and said who's Kevin? I said you know the young guy who helps with the uk wildcats that I follow online....then they all knew who I was talking about...I'm so proud of you Kevin...most young people would have not taken the chance of leaving the comfort and care at home to move another state away to get a education and follow his dream of working with the uk wildcats....I'm so proud to have you in our state of Kentucky and that you bleed blue like we do. .

Please note everyone does not dress up at keeneland. I usually am in jeans. There is quite a variety of wardrobes at keeneland.

Kevin,
I received this link from a co-worker this week. As I read it, I thought of you. Take heart and know that some days are just better than others. God does not promise us great days all the time -- that is what Heaven is about --He just promises to be with us through the not so great days. Cling to you faith.

Hi Kevin, I realize this is a three--year anniversary for you since the start of your battle with cancer three years ago. I'm sure its pretty scary to look back on it, but I would encourage you to remember all the progress you've made, all the plans you've seen come to fruition, and how you've overcome so many obstacles in the road to reach where you are today. Everyone who knows you, or of your story is so very proud of you and your accomplishments. Be proud of yourself; its no secret how proud your parents, family and friends are of you but know the rest of your "friends" who pray for you, give thanks and praise to Almighty God for the miracle He has wrought in you:)
Love and prayers,
Gaye
