Kevin surprised me this week.  He was sitting down, and then said, "Oh, I've got something to show you."  He proceeded to walk from the living room to the kitchen and back with his cane!  After he got back he sat down and smiled at me real big, and said, "I've been saving that up for you."  I started to cry, and smile at the same time.  Life is so different this year compared with last year.  Each day brings new achievements this year, and last year I was just hoping he would live to the next day.  How does a person reconcile that within their brain?  Any suggestions?  How can life not be wonderful everyday with that as the comparison? 

I am so grateful for each moment spent with my family.  I can't express it in words.  The world is so beautiful, and life is very good.  I want to live each moment fully, and not waste a breath.  You never know when all that is good will be taken away from you.

Kevin got a call today from  a friend about a possible contract.  It sounds like good work for some decent money.  That would be nice too.

All in all I have no complaints.
