Happy Halloween!

Halloween festivities and internet issues kept me from updating last night, but good news is good news no matter....

Kennedy went to clinic yesterday and got another very good report, SIX WEEKS no growth in her lungs!!!  The decision was made not to begin the oral chemo meds for many reasons including the fact that Kennedy has taken that drug before and its very unclear if it was beneficial or not, and no one wants to take the risk of compromising her situation right now; bring down her immunity in any way.  It seems smarter to maintain the status quo with lots of love and prayers and her own fighting spirit keeping these tumors at bay.  Her pain continues to be an issue, in fact she is now experiencing numbness in the arm that has been hurting so badly.  She is getting some massage therapy which should help, but yesterday Kennedy requested that a bone scan be done.  Dr. Gratias is getting that scheduled for next week.

After clinic Kennedy came home to rest briefly before heading out for an impromptu visit to the Morrison's house for some Halloween silliness and a quick spin around the neighborhood.  She was so excited to get out and go visit Lane.  Then she came home to greet more friends that had stopped by to share some tricks and treats.  So, between good news at clinic and silliness with family and friends, I would venture to say Kennedy had a great Halloween!  Thank you all for your continued prayers and support!!
