Hi Ken and Kathie,
Been thinking about you both and thought I would send out a hello. Hoping your days are getting better with each day.
We're looking forward to seeing you all later this Spring...possibly Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure we'll be talking sooner.
Love to you both,Peggy

Hi K&K, just wanted to let you know that I am thinking about you. Hope the ride to Mayo wasn't too harrowing with Kathie driving! :) I'm not sure when we will be back up to the lake. Too many sports events going on between all the grandkids. I know you have so much to deal with, but don't lose that great positive attitude you have always had. Take care and I look forward to another post from you. Love, Linda

Ken this passage was in a daily journal I read and it is written by Sarah Young. I thought if you when I read it. This is written as Jesus is talking to you. Thank Me for the conditions that are requiring you to be still. Do not spoil these quiet hours by wishing them away, waiting impatiently to be active again. Some of the greatest works in My kingdom have been done from sick beds and prison cells . Instead of resenting the limitations of a weakened body, search for My way in the midst of these very circumstances. Limitations can be liberating when uour strongest desire is living close to Me.

Quietness and trust enhance your awareness of My Presence with you. Do not despise these simple ways of servin Me. Although you feel cut off from the activity of the world, your quiet trust makes a powerful statement in spiritual realms. My Strength and Power show themselves most effective in weakness.

Hey Mr. Godfrey, Just thought I'd drop you a little note to say hi and let you know we've been thinking of you. Things have been busy as always here at work and at home.  We have two more grandchildren arriving this year.  One in May and the other in September. Our family is definitely growing.  Safe travels when you go to Mayo.  Hopefully you'll get some good news!  Say hi to Kathie for us.  Take Care, Nita & Bob

Read this while we were on the road so couldn't respond until we got home.  Hope things are going well for you down there, and praying for wisdom for the doctors and safe travels for you coming back home.  I'll be working the sled dog races with my amateur radio all weekend, should be interesting with the locations all changed.

I'm glad you were able to post your own message. I can appreciate what you are coping with but I do see improvement with you being able to focus enough to formulate thoughts to put into sentences. It may not sound like much to some folks but trust me these transplants are overwhelming. I hope for continued improvement. Give your wife a hug.

Ken, it is great to hear how you  are doing.  You continue to be in my daily prayers (and your wife as I 'm sure it is a team effort).  I've spoken with a young man who is originally from the U.P. who is interested in applying for the A.D. job at NMU.  I'd be happy to share more if you ever wanted to talk on the phone (231/250-5139).  I know you will continue to work hard to win this battle.  My best to you and always believe in yourself, our God, and your family and things will work out for the best.
