Hello everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the nice summer weather. We have been outside a lot. On fathers day Brian wanted to go for a hike. Therefore, we went for a picnic & a hike in the Kettle Moraine Forest. The girls loved it! We walked 2 miles in and 2 miles out. Kendall walked ¾ of the time. She just needed Daddy to carry her the last mile out.

Last night we went to a Mallards game in Madison (minor league baseball team). After the game, all the kids got to play kick ball on the field. They got to kick the ball being pitched by a Mallard’s ballplayer and run the bases. When it was Kendall’s turn, she was great until he pitched the ball at her and then she got scared and ran to Daddy. Brian then had to carry Kendall to 1st base, where the Mallard’s ballplayer told her that it was OK she could probably run faster than her dad could. Kendall then walked the rest of the way around the bases and was very proud of herself. We then stayed for the Madison Rhythm and Boom fireworks. It was a great time.

Kendall’s blood counts at clinic have been great. They are in the normal range. We are weaning her off the Entocort (steroid that targets the GI tract) again. She receives it every other day for the next 2 weeks then we will stop it. Hopefully in two weeks when we stop there will be no adverse effects, upset tummy etc.

Samantha donated about 12 inches of hair to Locks of Love. Now she has a cute summer hair cut.

We are planning to go up north for the 4th of July to Lake Tomahawk. They have a parade where they toss lots of candy to the kids and fireworks at night. Should be fun we are all looking forward to it. All being together again up-north.

Thanks for checking in on Kendall and for all the prayers. Have a safe and Happy 4th of July!

We added some new pictures.

Love the Behl’s
