So full of patience, so much depth of engineering knowledge and intellect, so very meticulous and detail oriented, and such a friendly, wonderful human being, Ken has touched so many people including me with his humble, magnanimous candor over the years. He will be missed very much as a colleague and friend. Our thoughts and prayers to give your family the courage, strength, resilience at this time. We all join you in cherishing his fond memories. May God bless your family.

I hardly know what to say.  It all seems so unfair.  I didn't know Ken, except through you, Linda, and you were so devoted to each other that I felt as though I knew him.   And you raised such a wonderful son together! Sending all my love,Christine

    Ken
I will always remember your pragmatic, no nonsense approach to engineering. I have learned so much from your wisdom and expertise. I am humbled by your patience. Your outlook on life was always refreshing.
I am so sorry you had to be on this end of the randomness of the world.
It has been my pleasure to have known, and worked with you.
My heart goes out to you, Linda and Ian.

    Ken, Linda, and Ian,
I've wanted to write especially since hearing about the most recent turn of events. Uncertainty in finding the right words has been my writer's block, but I realize that just letting you know that all of you are in my thought is better than waiting for the perfect phrases.
While I have dealt with serious health issues with both of my parents, and the loss of my mom, I can only begin to imagine what you going through.
We should be thankful for the time that we have with our loved ones while they are with us and cherish their presents in our memories that linger. I hope that you are able able to make the most of the time that you have together and are able to strengthen the memories that you have already created together during your many years.
May peace be with you all. Love,
    Tom Clayton

Kinda, Ian, and Ken, I feel so much for you in this time - the sadness, the loss, the sense of unfulfilled anticipation.  Yes, it's part of life, but it's wrenching nonetheless.  I'll be there soon, and try, try to help.  We love you all.

All three of you remain in our thoughts each day. I'm very glad that Ken can be at home, surrounded by love, and gentle care from hospice.

    Linda,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and Ken and Ian now. I know that now is so hard. The love we have, the saying goodbye, the pain, the time, what we have, what we give. Your friends are with you today, in spirit and in truth.
