My Story

If God Leads you to it...He will see you through it...

The Will of God will never take you, where the Grace of God cannot protect you.

No matter how steep the mountain - the Lord is going to climb it with you.

Please read my story of what it’s like to be thrust into the world of cancer-no warning, just a first class ticket to the world of hell.

I know it has been a long time and i didn't mean to fall off the face of the earth. But I really didn't know what to say. Honestly I didn't want to say anything. However, now I have another reason to write.........about myself. I will do it here on Kenadie's site from time to time. Just because so many of you were my best support during our treacherous journey with that evil brain tumor. Reading the guestbook entries were so uplifting and comforting.........even through all my tears. I loved and appreciated them so much.

So I will come here and share my story and pray that all of you help me through this too. Love you guys.

Sorry but this is only for those people in Louisiana.

I would like to encourage everyone to go to Chili's tomorrow night in support of the La. Chapter for Multiple Sclerosis. Nation wide March is MS awareness month, but more locally MS awareness week and Chili's is offering a 10% GIVE BACK to the La. Chapter tomorrow night from 4 - 11p. The flyer indicates that you must present it with your bill. I have attached the flyer for you to print out in the event you can make it. You can go to any Chili's too. 10% is really not alot, so we need as many people to attend as possible for it to make a difference.

If you can't click the website copy and paste it in the address bar. Once on the page there will be a link that says "click here for flyer".

I would also like to Thank everyone who supported me in prayer, emails, friendship and donations throughout the past year while I was on my treacherous journey with my daughter "Lil' Miss Kenadie Leigh" as we battled that evil malignant brain tumor. Now 4 months after my precious angel joined out maker, she now watches over me and holds my hand as I attempt to come to grips with my own person battle with Mutliple Sclerosis. I was diagnosed on the anniversary of her diagnosis (early February last year), ironic isn't it? However, all is well. I'm doing fine and I feel fine. One day at a time as long as the LORD walks with me!!! One day at a time!!

So if you can go to Chili's tomorrow..........GO GO GO and bring a friend or tell them to go to the one nearest them. Personally I will be at the one on College Drive in Baton Rouge with a few of my co-workers/friends/support crew if you should want to come visit or just say HI! I would love it!!

My Mom (Janet) will be at the one in Mandeville with some of my family and friends around 6:00 too.

Please continue to pray and May God continue to BLESS each and everyone of you!!

Nyckie
