Rest in Paradise Party
Written Sep 5, 2013 10:54am"Live well, love much, laugh often" these words hang in our kitchen and describe perfectly Kelly's attitude towards life.
Kelly has taught us all how to live well. On September 20th join us as we celebrate Kelly's love and we can share memories of all the laughter Kelly has brought to our lives.
The Rest in Paradise Party will be held at La Vera Party center in Willoughby Hills on Friday September 20th from 6-9 PM.

Written Sep 2, 2013 9:34amAs some of you may already know this will be the second to last entry because early this morning Kelly's fight against this horrible disease ended peacefully but not without a fight.
All along Kelly's battle she only had one wish for Mike and her family and that was for everyone to be happy. So as we mourn the loss of a great friend, daughter, sister and my wife we must cherish each loving memory that Kelly brought to our lives.
I said this will be the second to last entry that will be posted that is because Kelly did not want a memorial service or a funeral...she wants us to throw a party, a Rest In Paradise Party. So a party we will have! The details of that Celebration of Life will be posted here after they are finalized.
My last request will be the same that Kelly made me promise every night before we fell asleep. She made me promise that I would be happy. I told her it would not be easy but that is what I am going to do. I also ask each and everyone of you to do the same because that is what Kelly wants. So if you are feeling down think of Kelly's wonderful smile and it will bring a smile to you even through the tears.
Kelly - i will always love you REST IN PARADISE

Written Aug 30, 2013 10:27amSorry about no update yesterday we just needed a day off.
Yesterday we hopefully made some progress with Kelly's infected right eye, we got two new eye drops that will hopefully start to clear up the infection. We also switched Kelly's doctor to a hospice doctor and we should see him today. This will take out the middleman in hospice having to contact her doctor and waiting for a response.
As many of you know Kelly loves sharks. The first time Kelly "cooked" a meal for Mike, he brought her a small shark which is still displayed in their kitchen. Also many of you know Kelly's culinary expertise is as amazing as she is so there is a story behind Kelly's first dinner she prepared for Mike. When Mike arrived to the house for dinner Kelly pulled the pasta dish out of the oven. Mike immediately asked where the takeout was from. Kelly swore that she left work a little early and prepared it herself. Mike then proceeded to the trash can, opened it and found the empty bag of a frozen Bertolli's laying right on top....busted but it was good! Since then Mike has happily been doing most of the cooking. This weekend if you are looking for something to watch we recommend Sharknado, although Kelly hasn't seen it yet we bet it is great. If you can't find that Jaws is always a great option and if that is too scary for Sharktank is on Friday nights, even though it has nothing to do with sharks they sometimes show sharks in the tanks.
