NO evidence of cancer or blood clots as the cause for the onset of the lymphedema in my left arm. I am absolutely elated and once again thankful for everyone's support and for God's blessings. My local oncologist is surprised and unaware of where all of my energy is coming from. More than ever I am convinced that my challenges of the past year have a higher purpose - there is so much that I feel that I need to accomplish, for me, my family, and within my community. (Is it too late to send my Christmas cards?) Only two more days and I will officially be done with chemo treatments. I will continue to travel to and be monitored closely by the Inflammatory Breast Clinic in Houston every 3 months and will take hormonal treatments for a minimum of 5 years. Management of my lymphedema will be ongoing for the rest of my life - but it sounds like a piece of cake compared to all that has happened in the last year. This is my second posting of the day, so please read my previous posting if you have not done so already. ~Kelly
