Hi Everyone,

Happy July 4th! (tomorrow)

Clinic was rescheduled for Katie - supposed to be today but Dr. Massey needed to be out out town so we have an appt on July 24th.  All continues to be well for Katie and the summer has been fun.  We went to Maggie (Sutton's owner) and Robert's wedding on June 13th which was beautiful.  Then we went to Iowa for Meg (my niece) and Neal's wedding (see photo) which was really nice - this is my sister Patt's daughter so it was awesome to get to spend some time with her.  She continues to amaze everyone with her progress and rehabilitation from the accident.   It was so great to see everyone.

My first summer working (since having kids)!!  It's been a bit of a challenge to say the least but I am trying to make it work as I really like working for LINC. Katie and Sarah and I are riding nearly every day and because of travel and other events, the girls took the month of June off from showing.  They are eager to get going again in a week or so.  Not sure if I had mentioned that Sarah's new pony Satinka is working out very well.

Katie's health is really good.  Once she got back on the Singulair, much of the allergy/asthma stuff seems better under control.  She complains about her joints (knees mostly) a fair amount so we will address that again at Clinic.  You may remember, the use of Dexamethasone in her age group has been linked to joint problems so we do have to be watchful.  Could be she's just way more active!

Katie has been busy making videos of her she and her pony and always seems to have one in the works.....if you are interested, all of her stuff can be seen on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/user/teddynkatie

Thanks for making our online Anthem LemonAid stand a great success.  We won't be doing a physical stand this year due to a horseshow that weekend so please look out for other kid's stands the weekend of July 17-19, 2009.

That's all for now, nothing too exciting which is just the ways we like it.
Love,
Susan
