Katelyn had her monthly check-up today at Memorial. It went really well compared to her other check-ups. She only screamed when she was getting her blood drawn. She actually let the nurse take her temperature and listen to her with the stethoscope, which was a first. She didn't really like Dr. Griffin looking in her ears, but she let him. She said 'no' and shook her head anytime anyone tried anything, but then she let them do it. A huge improvement from past appointments!
Her counts were great again! Thank God! It has now been 5 months since she's been off treatment. We pray for her continued good health and that she remains cancer-free forever!
Her next check-up is the week before Christmas. We will be traveling to Riley in Indy for that one. It will be good to see all of our friends there. We'll update next month, assuming all stays quiet here in the meantime.
