Good morning Crew!

I don't know what the weather has been like in your neighborhood, but ours has been HOT! I like it though.. but it's tough to get comfy when it's time for bed. Might have to break out the A/C for the window.

Last nights bereavement support group meeting went better than last week. We talked about "change." What was the hardest change since our loved one died. I could've talked for hours. Change sucks! Cancer Sucks! The whole thing just SUCKS. I think the hardest thing for me is how my mind has changed. I am still so happy for ^Kasey^ to be all done with life on earth, all done with cancer and it's evil ways. Only now.. I miss him so much. I miss everything about him more today than I did when he left. I am still working on his room. We are putting his favorite things into a big plastic box. Putting Kasey's 11 years into a box just SUCKS.

Tomorrow is 4th of July. Kasey loved the 4th of July. Our Colbey is making sure we have a good time. We must carry on tradition for him. He is eating and sleeping fireworks. He can't wait to set these things on fire! He makes us excited for him.

So.. I got up early this morning, not because I wanted to. My brain was not being kind to my heart, so I need to motivate and change gears. After reading some journal updates, I need to ask for prayers for other kiddos right now.

Baby Bryson is in the hospital. Seizures are keeping him from going home. His family is worried about him. They may have an MRI today to rule out tumor changes.  www.caringbridge.org/visit/brysonelzy

Tobin needs brain surgery ASAP, he first needs his lumbar puncture to say there are no stray cancer cells in his spine. Please pray for a clear result and a successful surgery. www.caringbridge.org/visit/tobinhaas

Taylor has continued to have seizures. She is going on a trip and wants to be seizure free and have fun. They have moved up her MRI to the 15 of July. www.caringbridge.org/visit/taylorgettinger

Please send continued prayers for all our warrior friends and thier families!!

Have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
Hugs to our Crew!

Amy.. ^Kasey's^ mom
