My Story

Kasey is now 5, at 3 we received the diagnosis of Langerhans Histiocytosis (on 11/14/2007). Initially we were told that LCH was limited to skin. Later it was determined the mastoid bone was involved. Approximately 1 in 200,000 children have LCH. Kasey has had rounds of chemo and two relapses. The third time is going to do it!

Happy 4th everyone! Fireworks on our cold-a-sac tonight!

Who stands up for our country, the wonderful military that keep us safe, those in the legislature that try to protect our freedoms, and today's kids... may of which are fighting right now. Today's kids are tomorrow's leaders, hugs to all the little warriors fighting now! Armed with chemo and backed by loved ones! I can't wait to see what you become!

Kasey did her chemo on Thursday, a small improvement, it all went down, but still way too much crying and anxiety! Anyone have any ideas on how to take the methotrexate, please let me know.
