Karli is a happy and active 3 year old! In August of 08, her world changed a bit as she was diagnosed with retinoblastoma. Our roller coaster journey landed us traveling to NYC for intra-arterial chemotherapy, which looks to have saved her eye! Please join Karli's prayer warriors! Just a quick update for family and friends who are checking in on Evelyn (aka "Grandma" to Karli!)!

She was transferred yesterday to SELECT, a specialty hospital/unit near Baptist Hospital, whose main priority is vent weaning.  I think the idea is to get her in a more "home" like environment and away from the germs of the hospital, yet where they could continue to actively wean her ventilator and work on her PT. 

I do not have any contact information readily available but will post some by tonight. You can call Kevin if you need information, in the meantime!

Thanks for your continued prayers.  I will update more about the kids, including Karli's appt. later!
