Greg, Lizzie and Stephen,
Although I was not there at the walk in person, I was walking with you in spirit. My memories are filled with great moments of laughter with Karen, and i replayed many today She loved you all so very much. You will be in my prayers tomorrow and in the days to come.

I'm excited about the upcoming brain tumor/cancer Walk on Saturday, May 11th morning at Lake Phalen.
If we can help others afflicted by this terrible condition and raise funds and awareness I know Karen would be pleased and proud.
Dear Karen will be with us in spirit. Hope many can make it! And the pot luck picnic afterwards will be fun!

Good morning All,I won't be walking but will help with anything else needing to be done. Susanne has asked me to bring peach cobbler for the picnic so is there a number of people you know are coming?  Do I need to register for the team since I'm not walking but a side line member? Let me know what I should do.Thanks

Wow! Nice journal entry Brother Greg! So touching and heartfelt!
{I guess Liz isn't the only one with the writing talent -- (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.)}

I am so very proud of you Greg, and how you loved and supported Karen. You two lived and loved life to the fullest. She loves you very much!

I miss dear Karen...
I didn't realize just how special and just how much sister-in-law Karen meant to me. Only until we found out about her diagnosis did I tell her how much I care and love her -- I just took her for granted.
Uppa (my Ma's Dad) always said, "you don't miss the water til the well is dry." Don't let another day go by without telling those you care about what they mean to you. I love you!
Love from sister Suzy

WOW, Liz I am at a loss for words.  That was amazing and put so beautifully.  Your mom is in heaven just beaming (probably why we have some much needed sunshine) with pride for her awesome daughter.  I still remember the day she said to me " I finally have my daughter back".  After your divorce and surgery she was so happy.  I am sure you and Stephen will continue to make her proud.
   Love all you Peterka's
