Hello to everyone! I want to start out by expressing our thanks to all of you. You have all been so wonderful throughout this entire ordeal. I do not have the words to describe how much we have been touched by all of the support you have provided for our family. As I look back on the past few months, I realize how many friends we have that care for us and most importantly for Kara. When I think back to the nightmare of April 26th, I know that we could not have made it without all of the emotional support that has been given. It's sad that it takes something like this to make us all stop and thank God for the little blessings in our fragile lives. But praise God he is always in control! He had his hand on Kara from the very moment she lost control of her car and he has been at her bedside throughout her entire struggle. We have faith he will continue to heal her body and mind. She is one of the strongest people we know; but we also know that without him she would no longer be with us. We thank him everyday that he has allowed us more time with her. Life would never be the same without her smiling face and wonderful personality. There is noone like Kara. Please continue to pray for her that she would not get discouraged and that she will be able to look to him to ease her mind about the upcoming therapy. She has a painful road ahead of her, but with God's help she will be back to her old self before long. Kara will periodically be doing updates from now on as long as she continues to feel up to it. She goes on June 30th to start therapy on her knee, pray that God helps make her pain bearable. Thanks again to everyone for what you have done for our family. We will never be able to repay the kindness and support you have all given to us. We love you all!
