Time to update again.  All is well here at the Stockton household.  Kaleb has been enjoying the summer thus far.  I got him a new brace last week he orthopedist has never shown any care of how bad Kaleb's back is.  He told me that he wouldn't worry about it because he would never walk again.  Now how dumb does that sound?!!!  So I did some research on my own and thought that I would see how I could improve his back or keep it from getting worse.  I found this great company in Howland that makes prosthetic limbs and braces.  After talking with him, he felt that Kaleb would benefit greatly from this.  It would not only help his spine to not get worse than it already is, but it would also help him with his breathing.  YAY!  So, we had him casted and two weeks later, we have a back brace.  I think it may be a little hot in the summer, but we will have a wardrobe of tank tops and back brace.  That's okay, it only benefits him!!!

Other than that, things have been rather quiet.  We had a couple episodes last month with his vomitting.  Sometimes it's hard to tell, if it is the syndrome or if it is allergies or if it is that he is just sick.  Oh well, I suction and hydrate all day long and then by the next day he is fine.  Thank goodness!

Blake and Gracey are doing well.  We had a scare with Gracey last week.  I accidentally slammed her arm in the van door.  (the door actually latched shut!)  Took her to the ER and they said it was broke in two spots, so they casted her and they told us to go to the orthopedist the next day.  So we went and wouldn't you know, nothing was broke, but he watnted to keep it cast for a week.  So we are all better now.  Swimming and flipping and handstands all included.  so we got lucky.

Kaleb's therapist, Bernie, is back to work after her brain injury.  We are so excited to have her back.  We really missed her.  She loves her special kids.  She wanted to get back into it full swing the moment the doctor released her.  WELCOME BACK BERNIE!!

Well another summer of fun planned.  Swimming, playingg and all that fun stuff.  We will check back in soon.  Have a great summer in the mean time!
