My Story

Hi, my name is Kaden and this is a short story on the way me and my family found out that I had a rare disease called Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis. My mommy will also update you all from time to time on how I'm doing in the journal pages. You can read my full story down below if you want to. Thank you all for visiting my site.

Sorry it has been a few weeks since I last posted anything. We have been busy as usual. Kaden is doing good overall. Although, with each chemo round that Kaden takes, the chemo  gets harder on him. He just finished up another round today and he was pretty miserable. But come Monday, he will be back to his enthusiastic, high energy, three year old self. I am very grateful for that! We should have a few more months left on this chemo and then have some more scans and see where we go from there. Hopefully he will get a break for a while. He has been complaining about his head hurting for a few weeks, but it could be so many things. We are watching that. We got to meet with the “Make A Wish” people on Wednesday and Kaden told them his wish would be to go see Mickey Mouse and Lightning McQueen (Disney World). So we should be doing that sometime in the late fall. I can’t wait for him and Kielah to do that. They deserve it! We have a busy summer ahead of us. Please pray that Kaden will do well with all the traveling. We will be going to Alaska., the beach in South Carolina, and the beach in Maryland. He is getting a 5 week break from chemo this cycle because of our trip to Alaska. That should be nice for him. He is really enjoying the pool that we got this summer. The first thing he asks when he gets out of bed in the morning is if we can get in the pool. Kielah is out of school now, so that is how we plan to spend most of the summer when we aren’t away. Well, I got to go for now. We love hearing from you.!
