Day 559.................................Pray for Randy and Deb

Joshua is getting better everyday and he thanks you for your prayers. Thank God he is getting better. He ate his first food today when I was at church, he said he ate a couple of Vienna sausages. I think he was getting tired of eating ice cream, soup and popsicles. He is going to school tomorrow, because he already missed 3 days last week. Pray for him to have an easy day. Steve is going to talk to his teacher and I have sent her a note so she will be cautious with him. We packed his little jello and pudding lunch and that made him a little sad. I wanted to let you guys know that Joshua was thrilled that so many people signed the site for him. It made him feel special and took his mind away from his pain.

Since Justin is such a miracle and our friends still read this site; I use it to inform everyone of what is going on in our lives and as a prayer request blog.

Steve's cousin, Deb Barnes is having surgery on her shoulder tomorrow. Please pray that everything goes wonderful. My brother, Randy Oakes, is having back surgery on Wednesday. Please keep him in your prayers. If anyone has a request you can share it on this site by signing the guestbook. If you have problems signing in then send me an e-mail.

Since it is the Thanksgiving season I would like to share what I am thankful for. I am thankful for my wonderful husband that sacrifices so much for our family. I am thankful for my oldest son growing up and joining the Army National Guard. This son has made me so proud in giving of himself tosave his brother's life. Justin is in the youth group at church and I am so grateful of this.(He even spent the night at the church with the youth praying for our country, families, and the teenagers. I am thanful that Joshua made it through the surgery okay. I just found out that he was awarded a Good Citizen Award at school. When he went to the Fall Festival at school he had already bought his tickets and I gave him $10.00 to buy food to eat. He gave that money to a girl so that she could participate in the festival. His teacher was so proud she sent me an e-mail bragging on him. This was a blessing to get a note from a teacher like this. (You never know how little rascally boys can act when they are at school.) I want everyone that reads this site to know that I am very thankful for my family and friends. You guys are awesome. It is really neat how we are so close even though we are far away. I am talking about relatives in Colorado, Maine, Virginia, California, Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, and Florida. Thank-you so much for keeping in touch in a wonderful way. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday and be safe.

We love you guys,

Jennie Finch
