July 1st of 2005 started as an ordinary day, but by the end of the day our lives were turned upside down. Justin, a seemingly happy and healthy child was diagnosed with cancer at 3 ½ years old. The doctors told us he was stage IV and the outcome was unfavorable because the cancer had spread from his neck to his head, chest, spine, bones and bone marrow.

Hope everyone had a great Turkey Day. Justin (our little chef) helped make the best turkey I've ever had. No offense mom: ) We had a lot to be thankful for this year. Justin's doctor called a couple of days after she called with the test results and said the NB team decided since there is no evidence of disease the best course of treatment now is NO more treatment. Yep, Justin finally gets a break after 3 1/2 years. He will still do the accutane for a couple of months, but no more chemo, radiation or antibody treatment. We haven't stopped celebrating yet because it's still sinking in. This is a time I was beginning to think would never come.

Tyler is doing great as well. He made A-B honor roll and started wresting at Cane Bay high school. Lou is the assistant coach and Tyler loves it.

Thanks for being there through it all!! Your support has given us the strength to get us through.
