Justina is in the hospital again unable to keep food down – she has not eaten in several days.  To be more specific, the food does not go down to her stomach and then back up; she can’t get it past her throat.

 She had a test where she swallowed and they took pictures and is waiting for the results.  A speech therapist will be seeing her today or tomorrow to check the muscles in her throat to see if they are working properly.  

The nurses have been unable to get an IV started so as soon as they get an okay from the doctor, Justina will be getting a pick line.

Prayers, prayers, prayers and more prayers…..this child has been through so much and deserves a break….no she deserves a better way to live her life.   How very frustrating!!!

Justina continues to be cheerful and positive – I just don’t know how she does it  but, I’m very proud of her and hope that the doctors fix her problem quickly.
