Yesterday was Julika's 4th chemo session. She is handling the treatments better and better. After the first chemo she had, the doctors adjusted the levels of chemo that she was recieving and now she is handling it much better. Her nausea has been dealable since the medication seems to be helping a lot.
She has been able to eat and drink much better these days, but the intense heat has been difficult for her (85-95F each day for the past week or so). The first 24-48 hours after her chemo are difficult for her phsyically, but she is dealing with it well.
Starting Monday there will be a kids VBS camp in Petőfibánya and she would love to be there! During the last month she has been writing down instructions for the camp staff (over a 100 pages!) so that they can most effectively use the material she created for the VBS.
Mani has been helping out in significant ways with camp preparation. David really enjoyed this past week's English camp. Zsolti has been faithfully working at his job.
It is possible that the week after next that the doctors may give Julika a little break from the chemo and start a series of daily radiation treatments over the course of a month. It wouldn't be as tiring as the chemo, but it would mean traveling back an forth to the hospital every day which would certainly be tiring since the hospital is not very close.

Tegnap volt Julikának a negyedik kemoterapiás kezelése. Egyre jobban bírja a kezelést! Az első kezelés után már változtak hogy milyen erős volt a gyogyszere, és azóta sokkal jobban tudta bírni. A hanyingere a kezelés utan nincs nagyon erős mivel a gyogyszer sokkat segít.
Most már jobban tud enni meg inni, de a nagy melegség nehéz neki. Az első 24-48 óra a kemoterapia útan nehez testileg, de elég jól bírja ezt is.
Hétfőtől lesz Biblia tábor Petőfibányán, és nagyon szeretne ott lenni. A múlt honapban nagyon sokkat leirta a tábor vezetőknek hogy minél jobban tudnak használni az anyagot amit ő készített.
Mani sokkat segít (most is, meg jövő héten is) a táborral. Dávid nagyon élvezett az angol tábort múlt héten. És Zsolti szorgalmasan dolgozik.
Lehetséges hogy az orvosok jövő hét útan fognak kezdeni sugár kezelés. Ez lenne minden nap több héten keresztül. Nem lenne olyan fárásztó neki mint a kemoterapia, de fárásztó lesz majd minden nap bemenni mivel a kórház nincs nagyon közel.
