STABLE!! Praise the Lord for another stable scan. Our day was as smooth as a scan day can be. Julia's IV was placed on the 1st stick, actually this was the first time I could see Julia's veins, so that was encouraging. Her scan, although starting 45 minutes late, went every well, lasting only 1 hour and 20 minutes. We finished in MRI right before our scheduled clinic appointment with DR. Janss. When we arrived at the clinic we were greeted by many familiar faces and our wonderful brain tumor team. Although we had to wait until 12:15 for Julia
s scans to be thoroughly reviewed and to hear the good news, our time passed quickly We chatted with our wonderful nurse Maggie and then our social worker Kerry , who we just found out is pregnant with twin girls, we are so excited for her!!!
Thank you so much for lifting us in prayer today and always. WE are forever grateful for your love and support. We are so thrilled with our news, but we still struggle to balance our joy when so many of our friends have been relapsing. First Jordan in Jan, then Patrick just 10 days ago and now, this morning, Madison, the little girl who went through radiation at the same time as Julia, was getting a scan because a new brain tumor was found only last week on her regular check up. life is so fragile an d unexpected, remember to enjoy each moment and each day and always tell the special people in your life just how much they mean to you. God Bless you all!!
